The 30-year-old man was shot multiple times on the 200 block of Northampton Street around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, the department said in a release.

He was taken to an area hospital with "what are believed to be survivable injuries," police wrote. Two nearby businesses and a car were also damaged by gunfire, they added.
